The Night Stalker is a made for television movie starring Darren McGavin, Simon Oakland and Barry Atwater. It follows the exploits of an abrasive Las Vegas reporter as he investigates a series of mysterious murders that seem to have been committed by a vampire. It first aired January 11, 1972 on the ABC television network.
At the time of its airing it was the highest rated made for television movie in history, earning a 33.2 rating and a 54 share.
